Libby Shannon is a 2012 graduate of Carthage High School. Her love of volleyball was cultivated through the Spikers Volleyball Club, where she played middle hitter. She graduated from Missouri State University with her Bachelor of Science in Special Education in 2016, and will graduate with her Master Degree in Special Education-Autism in the spring of 2020.
Before coming to Carthage Schools, Libby worked for Joplin South Middle School as a special education teacher and the 7th grade volleyball coach. Coach Shannon joined the Carthage High School faculty in the 2018-19 school year as a special education teacher, and she is excited to be back on the floor with the volleyball team.
