CARTHAGE - Trailing 1-nil after halftime, host Carthage High Schools rallied for five unanswered goals in the second half to down Webb City 5-1 in COC play. The CHS rally was led by junior
Adrian Garrido who had a hat trick on the night. The goal that opened the scoring barrage for the Tigers was from midfielder freshman
Welle Welle who found the back of the net at 51'. Garrido followed that up ten minutes later on a PK to put the Tigers on top 2-1, and then added his second goal six minutes later. Senior forward Jesus Alvaredo tacked on a tally at the 80' mark for the Tigers before Garrido added his third goal of the night at 80' +6.
The win pushed the Tigers overall record to 17-1 and 6-1 in the COC.
CHS is back in action on Tuesday, October 20 when they host Nixa.
